A new agreement carries the promise of bringing a new medical clinic to Crawfordsville, in an effort to serve the members of the Crawfordsville Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
Wellness for Life Medical, LLC announced it has entered into an agreement with the Crawfordsville Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce to provide healthcare services to their member companies.
Wellness for Life’s Director of Business Development, Brian Garcia said that “this is just the beginning to what we hope to be a very long and very rewarding relationship with the Chamber of Commerce. We hope this will serve as a model for other Chamber of Commerce groups.”
Vice President of Operations, Amber McGrannahan states that “the clinic is slated to open early 2019. The plan is for the clinic to be 2,000+ square feet encompassing up to four exam rooms.”
Sales Executive for Wellness for Life, Charles Harris, added that the model centers around a direct primary-care model, which features no co-pays for office visits, several medications dispensed and several labs drawn to members at no cost.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kayur Patel remarked, “Wellness for Life clinics are unlike other clinic providers in that they were founded by doctors and healthcare professionals who truly understand the dilemmas of the current primary care crisis. We also understand the criticality of the doctor-patient relationship to achieve optimum health. We know this is not just a theory, but through decades of hands- on experience.”
Manager of Business Development for Wellness for Life, Rodney Clark added, referencing Wellness for Life’s mission, vision, and values statement – “ we believe that patients deserve access to the highest quality care that is uncompromised by financial barriers; that employers deserve a health plan that looks out for their best interest and produces a healthy workforce; and, that clinical staff deserve an environment where they are professionally supported and where patients are the focus.”
According to a recent three-year-impact study at a clinic which Wellness for Life operates for 2,400 employees and their dependents, the client saved more than $3 million in total savings in 2.5 years, and resulted in 22 percent fewer ER visits, 56 percent savings of insurance-paid office visits, and 48 percent savings on insurance- paid lab tests.
